Leo Season: The Courage to Be Seen

As the Sun moves into Leo, the energy begins to shift.

After Cancer season's invitation to come home to ourselves, Leo gently asks a different question:

Now that you've found yourself... are you willing to be seen?

Not the polished version.

Not the version that tries to please everyone.

The real one.

Leo Isn't About Being the Loudest

Leo sometimes gets misunderstood.

It's often described as attention-seeking, dramatic, or constantly wanting the spotlight.

But healthy Leo energy isn't about performing.

It's about expressing yourself honestly.

It's about creating, laughing, loving, sharing, and allowing yourself to take up space without apologising for it.

At its heart, Leo reminds us that we all deserve to shine—not because we're better than anyone else, but because each of us carries something unique that the world doesn't have without us.

The Fear of Being Seen

For many of us, being seen can feel surprisingly vulnerable.

Maybe you've held back an idea because you worried people would judge it.

Maybe you've stayed quiet when you wanted to speak.

Maybe you've made yourself smaller so that other people could feel more comfortable.

We've all done it at one time or another.

Leo season gently asks us to notice where we've been hiding—not to criticise ourselves, but to become curious about what we're protecting.

Expression Is Healing

One of my favourite things about Leo energy is that it reminds us that creativity isn't just about making art.

Creativity is how we express our life force.

It's cooking a beautiful meal.

Planting flowers in your garden.

Dancing around the kitchen.

Starting the business you've dreamed about.

Singing when nobody's listening.

Wearing the outfit that makes you feel like yourself.

Writing the words you've been scared to write.

Every act of authentic expression says:

"This is me."

And that's incredibly brave.

The Heart of Leo

In astrology, Leo is ruled by the Sun.

The Sun doesn't ask permission to shine.

It simply does.

Not to compete with the stars.

Not to prove its worth.

Simply because shining is its nature.

Perhaps that's Leo's greatest lesson.

You don't need to earn your place.

You don't need to become someone else before you're allowed to be visible.

You already belong.

Working With Leo Season

This season, instead of asking:

"How can I be more confident?"

Try asking:

"Where am I holding myself back?"

Or perhaps:

"What would I create if I wasn't so worried about getting it right?"

Sometimes courage isn't found in grand gestures.

Sometimes it's found in posting the thing.

Having the conversation.

Starting the project.

Or simply allowing yourself to enjoy your own life without feeling guilty for it.

Leo reminds us that joy isn't selfish.

It's something we share.

And perhaps the world doesn't need a more perfect version of you.

Perhaps it simply needs a more authentic one.
