What to Expect from a Tarot Reading
If you’ve never had a tarot reading before, it’s normal to feel a mix of curiosity… and maybe a few questions.
Will it predict the future?
Do I need to prepare something?
What if I don’t “get it”?
Let’s keep it simple.
A tarot reading is a space to pause, reflect, and see things from a different angle. It’s not about being told what’s going to happen — it’s about understanding what’s already unfolding in your life.
How I Work
I read using the decks of Kim Krans — The Wild Unknown Tarot, The Archetypes Deck, and The Spirit Animal Oracle. I specialise in these because of their depth, honesty, and symbolic richness. These cards speak to me, they feel alive and full of expression.
My approach is intuitive and grounded.
I don’t rely heavily on memorised meanings or “reading from the book.”
Instead, I work with the imagery, the energy of the cards, and what’s coming up in the moment — alongside my knowledge of tarot.
Every reading is a conversation.
Not a script.
What Happens in a Reading
You can come with a question, a situation, or just a general feeling that something needs clarity.
We’ll explore what’s going on through the cards — looking at themes, patterns, and what might be asking for your attention.
Sometimes it’s very clear.
Sometimes it unfolds more gently.
There’s no pressure to “understand everything” straight away. Often, things land later — which is why I offer a PDF summary after the reading, so you can revisit it in your own time.
What You’ll Get From It
A tarot reading can help you:
See your situation from a new perspective
Put words to what you’ve been feeling
Understand patterns or blocks
Feel more grounded in your decisions
Reconnect with your own intuition
It’s less about answers, more about awareness.
What Tarot Isn’t
Tarot doesn’t take your power away.
It won’t tell you what you have to do, or give fixed outcomes about the future.
You’re still the one making your choices.
The cards simply reflect what’s present — so you can move forward with more clarity and trust in yourself.
Before You Come
You don’t need any experience with tarot.
You don’t need the “perfect” question.
Just come as you are.
Curious, open, or even a bit unsure — it’s all welcome here.
